The training was very simple and easy. I had a lot of hands on training and everything was explained to me in detail
Two weeks of training that you are not guaranteed to pass. Hopefully the trainer that is assigned to your location is good. You are told they will be back to the studio to check in, once you start taking clients.....I ever saw a trainer again.
Job training isn’t performed by a professional. They drag someone away from their appointments to come in the break room and show you how to apply lashes while belittling you and expecting you to bend your fingers in a way that can cause issues.
They teach stylist how to apply lashes "their way"
I will give Amazing Lash for giving some training, however, they rush stylist to start taking clients and do not ensure that all stylists are properly trained. The end result is that clients come in, thinking that they're seeing a professional, but instead most of the stylist are under trained and over worked.
Our corporate regional was lazy and never came to studios to perform any job training. I was responsible for developing the corporate sales training manual.
The training lasted 2 weeks. You do not get paid for it unless you complete it, which is fair. The trainers don't really pay much attention to you or the quality of work, they mostly just push you on cutting time down. Quantity over quality is how they work.
Training wasn't really training, it was more showing you what to do then not getting any more guidance after that. They bring models or you provide them, the "trainer" watched us probably 30 seconds and left the room, they only came back to check the final product. But they don't sit down and look for anymore flaws or show you more techniques further than what they already show you. If anything they said that if you figure out some other way to do things then just go ahead and do that and later if corporate comes, pretend to do it the way you were trained
They give a week of training and you get to bring in your models to practice on. The one thing I didn't like was the training is done in one of the rooms that is used for services so you don't have much room and once you put 3 or 4 people in the room it gets hot fast.
Their training wasn't bad, there isn't anything bad about their training. It's just annoying when they try to make you sound robotic.
