Several options ranging from the low monthly premium, but a high $1500 deductible (including your prescriptions) HSA plan to a more traditional PPO with a $300 annual deductible (but you pay nearly four times more a month in premiums). Vision care is VSP which really limits who is "in-network." Go out of network and only get $50 reimbursed for exam. Annual lens allotment is puny compared to other employer plans. Dental is pretty much the same as everywhere else--Delta Dental. Generally, expect to pay 10% out of pocket on the HSA (after $1500 deductible which Amazon contributes $500). On the PPO, you'll pay the 10% as well after $300 (no Amazon contribution), but your prescriptions are on a more traditional co-pay scale. If you have prescriptions of any significant cost, you'll probably get killed on the HSA.

Love the four options of Premera Blue Cross plans. VSP isn't great but adequate vision insurance. All effective on your first day of employment!

The benefits are offered on first day. They do not offer sick days. If you use all of your time off and get sick you are out of luck. You get fired as soon as you run out of time.

A very good assurance but sometimes is very minimal as well explained above.

Nice Society. The benefits package gives my family the lowest cost for our doctors, dentists, and optometrists and our prescriptions

As with any HCP these days, you have to do your homework to pick the one right for you. They have good choices. It beats O'bama Care

From what I was told in the introduction it appeared the benefits would be good so long as I became a regular hire and long term employee
