    The job training was fairly quick. You can't be nervous to ask questions because if you are they'll move on thinking you had a genuine understanding. I don't think my training was longer than three days.

    The worst thing about the training at American Eagle Outfitters was the manager/trainer did not the outlined policies and procedures of the organization, thus, training was really lacking. Also, customer service skills were not discussed.

    They do take the time to train you on the brand and then once a week you get time off the floor to learn about new products and campaigns so its good in that you have the tools to do well in sales. Improvement could be in dealing with customer escalations

    I was trained the Sunday before tax free weekend and was put on register for tax free weekend. I barely knew what I was doing and it was really intimidating.
