Health insurance is probably average with industry, and company does contribute to HSA. Otherwise, there isn't much the company is willing to do for you in terms of benefits or perks.
The benefits are shrinking and are not as good as they used to be.
Decreased 401(k) match benefit from 5% to 4% (employee must deposit 5%); increased health care cost with high deductible health plan (no bare bones plan option for young workers); increased transportation cost in NY area. Overall poor benefits to attract and keep highly mobile employees in the NY area. More expensive to come to work in 2016 than 2015.
great benefits however sometimes tough getting to HR.
Great vacation time, solid 401k match, very high deductible for Health ins
The benefits are significantly changing as of January 1, 2016. 401K match is being reduced from 5% to 3% on the first 3 points you contribute and then an additional half point on the next 2 points (for a total of 4% if you contribute 5%). Health benefits are also changing and will be more expensive with a higher deductible, and HSA contribution is also being reduced. The company is moving from the World Financial Center to Jersey City in May 2016.
