Employer Summary

At American Family, we understand the importance of achieving balance between our professional and personal lives. To allow you to make your own choices about your time off, we provide a Paid Time Off (PTO) Bank with a number of hours for you to use in any way you wish – for vacations, travel, family time and sick time off. The amount of time you have in your PTO Bank varies by your length of service; however, time continuously accrues in your bank, allowing you to use time off as you earn it.

I started with two weeks PTO, and you accrue 3 hours every pay period for your first year. The longer your are with AmFam, the more you accrue per pay period. You can roll over up to 150% of your annual PTO balance. However, once you max out your balance, you stop accruing until you use some.
