Paid time off is accrued over time in relation to the amount of hours you have worked... example 1 hour 20 minutes added at pay period end with 72 hours worked. Vacation time is based on the amount of time you have been with the company and is increased at 5 year anniversary, 10 year.... etc... There are a lot of people that have been there forever that have so much vacation built up they could never actually use it all and it expires but other people who are newer never have quite enough to cover family needs let alone actually take time off for an actual vacation.

They offer a good amount of PPOThowever they get upset if you use it for more than a week. You'll get a "talking to"

The best thing about the vacation policy is you get a floating holiday and two personal days a year and get about two weeks of vacation after about two years. The worst thing is the claims load is so high that most people in claims end up working on their vacations and management micro-manages so much that it is extremely stressful to even take vacation time.
