“Mediocre coverage at high premium costs.”
The health insurance doesn't cover much and copays are high. Vacation and PTO time is fair.
Benefits at AFR were, in a word, lacking. Paid Time Off: PTO was offered. As a new employee, it accrued slowly. In your first year, you were entitled to 8 PTO days. In your second and third years, this was increased to 13 PTO days. Note, however, that this included vacation, sick, and personal days. Paid Holidays: Generally, if the bank is open, so is AFR. Holidays include New Year's Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. Bereavement: Three days, unpaid. Health Insurance: Medical, dental, and vision are offered to all full-time employees. However, these plans are not cheap. As a single person taking the highest tier of insurance benefit, my bi-weekly contribution was nearly $300. Of course, these costs can be controlled by taking less coverage. However, costs for plans beyond single person coverage are exorbitant and provide, at best, mediocre coverage. 401K: Yes, a 401K was offered. No, the company provided no contributions. There is no match. Where some companies may be required to make safe harbor contributions, AFR is not. All contributions are yours and yours alone.
Expensive health insurance. I have yet to see 401k matching because it is up to the employer at year end. PTO policy is good.
the benefits are super expensive, they do not match 401K
Nothing positive about the benefits. SO EXPENSIVE you would need a second job just to compensate for the benefits here alone!
Best is the vacation plan - accrue time quickly and no problems taking it as needed.
Benefits premium are very expensive. The company doesn't really contribute to it at all. PPO full benefit package(medical, dental and vision) cost over $2900 and the employer only contributes $800
Health insurance rates are very expensive. Family coverage is practically unaffordable. 401K is offered but employer matching is at the company's discretion come year end.
Health insurance went up a bit.
401k and good medical and dental benefits insurance was provided to the employees. flexible hours and family friendly
