Though they offer paternity leave, and maternity leave, it is a sub-par plan when comparing to corporations.

Ok, if you’ve worked here at least 4 years

Standard maternity and paternity leave, processed as Short Term Disability.

The maternity leave is 8 weeks so you may have to use your vacation to supplement the rest.

This varies, but in my department, I took the full 12-weeks before coming gradually - first working from home, then coming in for meetings. There's a Mother's Room at National Center which makes it easy to pump when back at work.

Average policy- obviously not comparable to CA, but pretty good overall
