they have everything you can want
The benefit package is great!
Great benefits and the match your 403B.
Best thing was the Health care
PTO, wellness program, company events
I was an unpaid intern so I am unsure of the compensation and benefits package for full-time employees. I completed this internship as an opportunity to receive college credit.
The AHA offers great benefits especially for a non-profit. Health care options are sufficient as well as matching 401(k). They have the technology to allow you to work remotely if you or a family member is sick or you need to stay home for a day. They have a terrific corporate wellness program to incentivize time spent exercising for rewards. In my office there was also a modest gym onsite which was nice for stretching your legs during the day or knocking out a few emails on the stationary bike. While they may not have flashy benefits like "free lunches" and "beer thirty" that most modern companies have, they provide great benefits for the what I feel are the most essential areas.
Great time off, office closed for the whole week of Christmas, standard health, dental etc., ability to earn money and time off with Rally
Health insurance and vacation (Paid Time Off) is solid. There are also financial and time off benefits for participating in wellness activities. Retirement benefits are stronger than my previous employers. The one thing really missing in their package is Paid Family Leave for taking care of sick family members, maternity and paternity leave. The best option is short term disability but it's not the same thing. As an organization that supports millions of people with chronic diseases, many would expect a stronger paid leave benefit.
okay benefits, could be better
