They give 12-13 paid holidays per year. These include New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve. They have also provided some time off on Good Friday. Sometimes the office closes at noon while other times they have provided the whole day off. The previous Secretary also allowed employees to take the remainder of the afternoon off paid after the Christmas party and to take time off, which was paid, when weather conditions closed the office. The latter may change under current leadership.
