Fewer paid holiday has been difficult for some families, but overall floating holidays are useful for them.
The organization supports 6 paid holidays, with 2 floating holidays the first half of the year, and 2 floating holidays the second half. This results in many people taking the previous holidays anyway, and leadership resists having so many people out of the office at the same time.

Expected to work holidays and don't receive holiday pay. Also, no overtime pay. The only way to ensure holidays off is to take PTO.
I have no idea about the benefits for paid staff. However, since 97% of staff are unpaid, this is a small sample size. However, flexible work schedule allowed a lot of free time
Not enought paid holidays. I'm going in to work when the rest of the city has the day off. Took away the Friday after Thanksgiving, now offices have to be open. If you are trying to CUT expenses, why require offices across the US to be open an extra day?
