The best part of the benefits is the amount of PTO accrued. The worst part is the compensation.
The ARC had great benefits, and I enjoyed working there.
Great Health Insurance/401K/Vacation Worse - They lay these poor people off every 6 months or so. They have lost good volunteers and employees because of it. It upsets the employees they keep because they have no security. It is sad. I would not work for this company if they did not have benefits.
Health insurance get worse every year.
Best, benifits start from day one. Fantastic benefits package not much to complain about
The benefits at the Red Cross are sub par. The health insurance options are expensive, but cover very little with huge out of pocket expenses. Red Cross is pretty much a 24/7 operation so time off is not generous and you're required to work most holidays.
Best Thing: A variety of offering to fit different individual and family structures.
Great PTO plan with 20 days of annually. Employees are eligible for benefits after 30 days and the office hours were very flexible as long as you got your job done.
The Red Cross is fairly competitive regarding professional compensation, but its benefits have been dramatically curtailed and are no longer on par with the for-profit sector. The leave time structure is very rigid.
No benefits package at American Red Cross for this job.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
