“Very good health plane ”
“Their employee stock program only allows vestment if you've worked at least 1 year and then it's incremental.”
“Good PTO. More working hours more more PTO”
Great ESOP program and accruing rate
Wish I could give 2.5 stars. They benefits are pretty mediocre, this company is a glorified staffing company.
Well , good pay, friendly env
ESOP is every person’s favorite.
Excellent benefit. I worked for American systems for about a year and a half. Good management and more opportunities to grow.
All of the company's benefits are in-line with what a good company should offer its employees. The ESOP program is an excellent bonus!
The ESOP program is awesome. Great for retirement.
Very good, I like it a lot
One word: ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan). At the end of each year the company gives you stock in the company (~10% of you pay). This is on top of your pay and all other benefits. After 5 years you are vested, and then when you leave the company, after 6 years you can begin to remove the existing funds 25% at a time from the ESOP (if you want to, or you can leave it). Having worked there for 9 years this has become a big bucket of money (as the stock price has continued to appreciate upwards). I mean, this is free money for your future. I wish more companies worked like this because it really does drive you to care, because in the end you get rewarded. On top of this, they contributed money each year to your HSA (I think it was $650 the last year I worked there). Again, free money. Small enough company that you actually got to meet the CEO (and some staff) typically twice a year and discuss the company. I also loved the way they did PTO. They just gave you a bank of the hours and you used them as you see fit. That way you don't have to take some holiday off if you don't want to, and you could use the hours essentially whenever you wanted to. PTO was sufficient at 17 days for my first 5 years, ten after that it went up to 22 days. Combined with the 7 days of Holiday hours, that's almost a month. I was kind of an oddball since I worked in a role as a Contractor (essentially working for another company but getting paid by American Systems) so I didn't really get to experience their actually work/life balance on Contracts they ran but my dealing with my functional management and any interactions with HR/Benefits always went well.
They have great options! Super easy to understand
