It was fairly competitive but I think there are other companies out there with more benefits than AB
they had matching 401K as well as medical and dental partly covered, overall I think they had a good benefits package for the position I was in.
Best: Plenty of options for coverage. Also, you can pay little to nothing ($25 a month) if you're healthy. Just save on your own and use if needed, rather than money upfront. Worst: No sabbatical... they should allow tenured employees to get time off. We work long hours here, so 4-6 weeks every x number of years would be an amazing perk to set AB apart fro other companies.
As you climb the ladder, much of your compensation is tied to stocks - which can be good or bad depending on how the company performs.
401k is best in industry matching 8.5%, 4 weeks vacation, 16 weeks maternity leave, 2 weeks paternity, healthcare is good free at the basic level but more pricey for top levels
best thing has to be free beer. worst thing is easily how low our wages are as interns compared to industry average.
They recently updated their paternity leave policy to give more time for the primary caregiver & secondary caregiver
Best: highest salary and bonuses in industry, 8.5% company 401K match (option for Roth & Pre-tax), almost free healthcare, $600 worth of free beer/year
Full package was nice. Health care was getting lower quality and higher cost to the employee each year. 401k was being cutback as well, but there is a decent match if you put into it. Vacation maxed at 4 weeks after 10 years. Some other benefits look a lot better on paper than the actual program (tuition assistance, etc.) and are hard to actually put into use.
Great 401k Company Match/Retirement. The vacation time standard is about 3 weeks. Health Insurance options are very good for families.
