Decent benefits overall which increase with length of employment.
Standard government service benefits package. Its pretty good, but there are no deviations between organization within the Federal government. You either get them based on your employment and there are a few, like vacation time, that increase, with length of service.
Great benefits! Vacation & sick leave, 401K (TSP) and a FERS pension.
In addition to the pension plan which are sponsored by the fed gov., you are also now eligible for social security in addition. This was not always the case- pension plan only.
Great benefits. Defined benefit as well as a defined contribution plan. Sick leave as well as annual leave in addition to 10 paid holidays per year.
Federal retirement plan still above average and competitive pay for veterinarian.
Benefits are standard for Federal Employees.
Leave/vacation earning is difficult in the first three years compared to active duty military leave allowances.
Very generous benefits for employees at all GS levels
We get quite a few benefits and they are generous. We get our travel to and from work paid for (up to $130/month), there is an extensive list of health insurance to choose from, we get matching contributions to our 401K, we often get let out early before holidays, life insurance. Vacation and sick time are only one day each per month and slowly increase after a certain number of years.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
