One floating holiday, and average time off (3 weeks for new hires, increasing after 5 years. The downside is that it's use-it-or-lose-it for each year.
We’re definitely missing a few holidays, I came from banking so that was a big difference
Anixter goes cheap again. If you are hired after June 30, you get no days off this year. Then you get the standard 10 days, with no flexibility.
Accrued based on years. 2 wks at one year. 3 wks at 3 yrs. 4 wks at 10 yrs. If less than a yr in emplymnt it accrues based on month hired: Jan -5 days, Feb-4, March & April 3- days, May & June-2 days, July-Dec ZERO days accumulated time off. You do NOT get day after Thanksgiving off.
Request are honored 99% of the time and you get a whole week after 1 year and 2 weeks after 3. Better than many work places I know.
it's OK could be more paid holidays
