StarStarStarStarStar Former Sales Associate in Forest Hills, New York State

Was really easy. Trained us step by step and then we learned register and fitting room last.

StarStarStarStarStar Former Store Manager in Denver, Colorado

Pretty much non existent! A new associate is given 2 hours to assimilate to Ann Inc. All training is on the job training. All videos provided for client experience, SOP and credit are several years old and very out dated if you can get them to even play.

They sales people with skill or personality. I was told by store manager during my tenure that "some people have relationships here, but you are professional".

StarStarStarStarStar Current Sales Associate in Estero, Florida

They start you off in the dressing room to get to know the layout, afterwards you learn the cash register. I am not sure about the management training program.

StarStarStarStarStar Former Store Manager in Albertville, Minnesota

No job training as a manager, they expect you to know everything

  • Sep 20, 2017
StarStarStarStarStar Former Sales Associate in Columbus, Ohio

Management gives you the bare minimum of training and then you're left on your own. You definitely have to have problem solving skills and common sense to figure out what to do and what not to do.

StarStarStarStarStar Former Sales Associate in Atlanta, Georgia

The management I had at first kind of just thought I knew everything already, but I didn't. Later, we got a new manager and she trained me correctly.

  • Jun 08, 2017
StarStarStarStarStar Current Sales Associate in Farmington, Connecticut

Best thing is that you learn by doing, the worst thing is that you learn by doing. There's no real formal training, you're thrown right into it. You may shadow someone for a shift but that's about it.
