Decent heathcare plans (either PPO or HMO) with high-deductible options. In 2017, there are plans that have zero deduction from your paycheck (but they're high-deductible); this is great or terrible, depending on your individual situation.

extremely expensive deductibles make even minor trips to the doctor expensive. If you are searching for a new doctor expect no help from your Health insurance. Their list of doctors online is 110% inaccurate and when you call in for help they read the same inaccurate list. It took 17 calls before I got an actual general practitioner. They go as far as to list the health code inspectors. I think they googled "doctors" and pasted every name that came up. It's ridiculous

Health insurance is pricey, but that's just the way it is in California now. Lots of companies don't even offer health insurance anymore, so the fact they offer it is a huge plus.

Very expensive. Was paying well over $1,000 a month for myself and my family. No way to really lower it at all.
