Ample PTO time, excellent contribution towards healthcare and 401k. Access to many types of discounts on vehicles and other significant purchases.
The fitness support programs are generous and they have good on-site workout facilities. But the health insurance benefits are shockingly bad.

The health benefits are very expensive. The premiums are very high & the out of pocket expenses (i.e. deductible/coinsurance) are atronomical.
The worst is the Price
Great place to work and competitive benefit package when you weigh it all together! Anthem competes in an industry that is thankless at times, have to believe in what we do in order to make it through the tough days sometimes.
I learned so much working there. I had great teammates.
The benefits at Anthem are nothing special. Typical for a large company.
