It's nice, but too many people take advantage of it to work other jobs and not pay for childcare.
Company thinks working from home means no raises. I used to work more from home. The company recently installed an app to monitor laptops. Now I work the bare minimum. The company claims they don't know what tools we use.
The company is global and project teams are from all over the world / USA, so they have a generous work from home option given that your team might not even be in the same office as you. Many employees are virtual.
Depends on the manager, department and type of job but usually very flexible
I have been virtual since 2008 and it is one of the main reasons i am still here
one day a week you save the gas and commute time.
They are very flexible when it comes to being a virtual employee!
they watch you like a hawk and are more interested in hours put in rather than work done.
Only if you are in management or outside sales.
Lots of associates work virtually - it is a part of the culture
