    They offered 401k plan but I did not participate. I had my own plan to contribute into with another financial broker.

    Apex does not contribute to the 401k plan until after 1 year of service. By that time their employees are no longer employed at Apex, being Apex is only a temp agency to begin with.

    The best thing is they offer an overall 50% match on the first 6% of your earnings. The worst thing is you have to wait a year before you can enroll into the 401k.
