Great health and 401k benefits
The benefits would be great for a consulting company, but the medical benefits are the worst I've ever had... $350 A WEEK to cover employee and spouse with high deductibles and copays. VERY disappointing.
NO paid time off. None. Not even for holidays. No sick time. Health insurance is incredibly expensive. They start you off with this minimum requirements plan that only pays for preventative, then eventually you can choose one of their high deductible exorbitantly expensive plans.
401k 6% match, PTO vacation and sick time- based on accrual but can be pretty lenient, great health insurance.
Health benefits through Apex are expensive, but they are for most staffing companies due to the inherent nature of staffing firms. Apex's contractor care services are outstanding and incredibly helpful. The folks that staff the Contractor Care office are top notch and have always helped when I had questions.
To purchase high-quality medical benefits for a family of 3 through Apex runs around $30K+ per year. This is a great job for someone who can get their benefits through their spouse, because the hourly pay rate is good.
Their benefits arent al that. Nothing special, infact pretty basic benefits. the 401k matching was terrible, the health insurance sucked, the dental plan definitely a waste of money. They can definitely do better with their benefits
Bad health benefits and no PTO
I did not accept the benefits package, but it seemed reasonable from the provided literature and email service. Application must be completed within the first thirty days.
Company offers decent Dental, Medical and vision for contractors. Company has more detailed PPO plans after a few months of employment.
