Reasonable benefits for size and maturity of company. Multiple options for gym membership or fitness reimbursement.
AppDirect has a really good Benefits program
Very basic wages that may not be deemed competitive compared to other start ups in the bay area.
No 401k matching, poor maternity and paternity leave, decent PTO policy. Free lunch every Friday and free snacks but the quality has gone significantly down in the past year. Poor benefit package overall.
Benefits are standard for most tech start ups. AppDirect's benefits are not the most generous, but they are also not the worst. Fully paid health insurance, 401k but no matching, maternity/paternity leave policies are bare minimum, professional development fund for employees, catered lunches every Friday, decent array of snacks/drinks, and catered breakfast once a month during town hall meetings.
Benefits seem to be average for the industry, some pretty good elements (fair PTO, Friday lunch, events) but nothing particularly stands out.
No 401k match or tuition reimbursement
Best: Full insurance benefits that are completely paid for by company Worst: No bonus
Cons: There are not many paid US Holidays, no diversity program, charitable giving, or volunteer time off. No 401k matching or working from home either. Pros: Free snacks in the office and free lunch on Fridays. Health insurance includes an option for Kaiser. For SF employees there is great gym membership!
Benefits Are Awesome Except No 401k Match
