Appirio’s benefits program allows choices that will help our employees obtain the health and welfare plans best for our employees and their families. Our top priority is to have our employees as healthy, strong, and energetic as possible, as they are the driving force behind our company.
Downtown parking /cell/internet allotment which is great! Nice office with a fully stocked kitchen.
great everything great brnefits package and opoortunity to wrk from home all about employee customer relationships
The Appirio Benefit Package recently merged with Wipro's benefit package where the rates increased, however, 401k match is now provided.
Best 401k match 3wks vacation (not including sick days) Presidents’ Day off Volunteer days - wish there were more Worst Medical insurance is expensive 401k with Prudential okay Only one volunteer day annually, my previous companies had 5. Wish they matched donations
Didn't have 401k matching while I was there, but everything else was sufficient.
New health packages from Wipro (parent company), as of January 2018, are pretty standard. The plans encompass medical, dental and vision, all rolled into one. As an enrollee, you do have the option of a PPO or HDHP. Individual deductibles are $1,800 (HDHP) and $1,500 (PPO). After the deductible is met, you will have to pay for the remaining 20%, until your out-of-pocket limit is met. Unfortunately, the company no longer offers employer contributions to your HSA. However, as long as you have been an employee for at least 1 year, you are eligible to receive a 401k match (capped at $4,800/year). Additional benefits include, but not limited to: $175/month cell/parking/internet reimbursements, $300/year fitness reimbursements, 3 weeks PTO, unlimited sick time, 8 hours off for community service, adoption assistance ($5,000 lifetime maximum), snacks/beer provided in office, etc.
Decent benefits package but not stellar compared to their competitors in the marketplace. Things are improving slightly with our new parent company, Wipro, such as (finally) getting a 401k match. The 3 weeks off as standard isn't great but average amongst the market. The added cost for insurance also isn't great. Not a great deal of flexibility in negotiating these when you get hired.
Best: can set aside $5,000 pre-tax salary for child care; Worst: No matching 401K
While high deductible plans are covered, low deductible or PPO plans are expensive. There is also no parental leave policy for new parents which is a huge concern and extremely lacking compared to industry standards (hello 12 months at Netflix!). Other tech companies offer monthly health compensation for things such as massage, gym, or other necessary monthly expenses. Appirio offers $300 a year, which again is not extremely competitive.
Health and welfare benefits are reasonably priced compared to others out there. Did not have to pay for individual dependents. Free munchies in the office, including beer.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
