Very good company. Family oriented and down to earth CEO
Health insurance was great, with low employee cost. 401k is bad, at 1%. Vacation time accrues per paycheck at about 12 days a year. 6 sick days given at the beginning of the calendar year.
Disappointing benefits from such a large company. Many benefits they advertise are not available immediately and some take years to unlock. -They have a retirement match that maxes out at $500/year (1% of total compensation or $500 whichever is less). They do not actively apply the match and instead apply it all at once in May. This means if you leave or terminate before the match is given then it is not earned. They also force you to use Empower and you have around 40 funds to choose from instead of being able to choose to invest in whatever you want. -Healthcare does not kick in for a few months. It starts the 1st of the month following the end of your initial period. I did not have health insurance for 3 months because of this. -Healthcare cost is reasonably covered but not as competative as they try to make it seem. -Dental is 100% covered by you but is very affordable -Vision is 100% covered by you but is very affordable -They say they will help pay for classes or training but you have to be with the company for at least a few years. This was one of the reasons I joined... -
low 401k, decent medical, dental, vision (as expected in med device), good FSA since you can get your investment back, there is a 10k loan program with no interest for those in need, 12 days PTO with 5 sick days
Average benefits. Nothing special.
401(k) Match is awful - Matches 50% of Employee Contributions up to 2% of salary (i.e. they maximum they will contribute is 1% of your salary) Two tiers of Medical Plans offered, there is a reason no one takes the lower tier of plan (it is awful and super restrictive in the doctors and places you can receive care).
There was a lot included that the company was willing to offer but the compensation was not great.
Great medical package for a very reasonable rate. The team does a great job of explaining your options and taking the time to make sure you get what you need.
401k matching is terrible and isn't matched until the middle of the following calendar year. Decent vacation to start.
Great company culture, lots of opportunity for growth. Benefits are well subsidized, only pay a small percentage of services given.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
