You can get free drugs. The company has their own pharmacy so when you are prescribed you medications from the doctor you can get the delivered to your desk free of charge
Benefits provided are actually very good. The health insurance is provided by the company. However Applied uses this to justify lower the average wages. Applied acts like they are the only company in Omaha to pay benefits. They try and say your salary is $20K higher because of these benefits. If you are able to get hired by Applied, I am willing to bet you are able to get hired by another company of similar standing that will also pay your benefits. For the same job you can get paid 17% to 28%* more for the same type of work in the Omaha area. * Used Glass door estimates and a bas salary of $42k
The only thing lacking is the PTO.
This company has excellent health insurance. It also has an on-site pharmacy where your prescriptions are filled and delivered to you.
Fully vested in 401k on day one. Great benefits, prescription meds are free and pharmacy is in-house. They also pay for your property and casualty insurance license and manage your renewals.
Health is covered, cheap monthly for vision/dental. PTO is slow to earn but occurs faster the longer you're there.
Incredibly poor pto in the first 5 years
you get free health insurance for yourself.
The 401 K plan is wonderful, the 5-15 year incentives are spectacular, I really enjoyed payed holidays. The PTO leaves little to be desired for the first 2 years, and the Tuition reimbursement program is very low.
Matching 401k and free health insurance for employee
