The best thing about our training is that it is on-going, AT is all about continuing growth. The worst part about our training is that sometimes candidates don't see the benefit right away or don't grasp the concept fast enough and we've wasted their time and ours.
How well you are trained depends greatly on how the GM goes about it.
Got paid minimum wage during training which lasts about two weeks
We had to be trained to do the job and it consisted of online training, then learning it with baby dolls, then doing on the job training. First phase of on the job training consisted of letting a master instructor do everything while you watched, second phase is they let you do some while they do the other, then the third phase was doing it all by yourself. Then after its all done, you had your own classes.
The training is about 40 hours in water, and another 10 out of water. The out of water is easy and can be sped through if I'm being honest. The in water is basically observing the instructors teach their class and slowly working up to teaching most of their class on your own.
It is about average. During the middle of my second year they started going more in depth on training
another instructor trains you for like a month, so you don't have to worry about not knowing what to do. After training is done then you can choose what lane to give your class. Classes are set in a 1 to 4 ratio
