- Health Insurance(5 comments)
“Health Insurance premium is based on a percentage of your total net salary, so it's typically reasonable. They partner with United Healthcare, but as this is a religious organization, it doesn't cover everything (eg-birth control). Recommend signing up for an FSA alongside the healthcare. Dental and Vision insurance are separate.”
- Vacation & Paid Time Off(3 comments)
“Summer Fridays are a perk. Around 10 days of vacation time are offered per year.”
Summer Fridays are a huge benefit that in addition to standard Vacation and Sick Leave allowances.
Benefits and pay scale for the job
Still has a pension plan.
Great maternity leave, full pay.
Amazing number of holidays in addition to vacation
Great working place and people
Perks: pension benefit and life insurance.
Pretty generous! They offer 10 days vacation time every year (plus sick/personal days), some of which can be carried over into the first six months of the next year if they are unused. They also close for certain Roman Catholic holidays, allowing additional days off. Summer Fridays are a perk. Healthcare and dental care is fairly decent for what you pay (based on a percentage of your income) and FSA is helpful (for medical expenses and commuting costs).
Cost keeps increasing but salaries do not
Provides good medical, pension benefits to its plan participants, also pharmacy card savings and a 403B plan which is optional.
