PPO and HMO to choose from
you have generally two options: HMO or PPO. HMO is worse than Canada: You cannot get into any clinic any time but cheaper. If you have a kid, get PPO.
Insurance is very good.
Good PPO plan where lab pays 85 % of charges..
Covers a lot of conditions.
Great BCBC and Delta Dental
expensive plan, that I don't necessarily use. more options to choose from would be better
Good coverage. HMO and PPO options
The good side is that, the medical insurance covers most categories, like dental and pregnancy. The bad side is that, although the coverage is good, the price is not cheap (about $130/month).
Their health insurance is top notch. Never had to pay out of pocket other than my copay.
