There were no paid holidays
No paid holidays for part time workers which makes complete sense.
You did receive paid holidays, but they do not observe a winter break like other local colleges and universities do. Therefore, holidays were typical of other companies. If holidays like Christmas fell in the middle of the week, you better make sure to ask for Christmas Eve off as a vacation day or you will work on Christmas Eve.
Enjoy your holidays with some unpaid leaves. Be sure to ask your supervisor
Paid holidays are nice since you have to be on campus. It's an extra bump in your paycheck which definitely comes in handy for college students.
That position is a research assistant, just for one semester. So it does not have paid holidays benefit. It is just a part time job.
ASU's paid holidays are solid.
