Its a standard package that you get as a student. Doesn't cover dental or optics I guess. I haven't found any problems.
When we had our child the total out of pocket expense from the first delivery to emergency c-section was no more than $150. We have a very low co-pay and for the three of us the month cost isn't out of control. It's very reasonable. The retirement benefits are great as well.
