Good job training in North Carolina.
I was an intern so we did not receive benefits. There was a training program that was helpful. As interns we were told we would be making a certain amount in commission, I did not know any interns that made anything close to what we were told.
Offers solid health, dental, vision and voluntary benefits for full-time employees.
Free sales training, supportive team leaders, and networking. Long grueling hours, unfruitful compensation, high demands very low rewards, close to 5% commission.
Company used to pride itself on taking care of it's employees but that got flushed down the drain the moment they got bought out a couple years ago. Absolutely no benefits worth speaking of from this place. Vacation and sick time is combined. PTO system is absolutely useless and doesn't work. I never knew how many hours of PTO I actually had and was constantly argued with about the time I had accrued. Asking to work from home felt like a sin and every time I asked I felt ashamed. Hours were NEVER flexible. 8:30 to 5:30 every day, no ifs, ands, or buts. You would get fussed at for leaving five to ten minutes early. The insurance was awful. Not sure what it was supposed to cover but I was constantly paying fees for EVERYTHING, even if I thought I was following everything correctly. This includes Health, Dental, and Vision. And last but certainly not least, this company wrote into people's contracts that they would receive E.O.Y. bonuses based on their performances and then failed to pay them out because the company was doing so poorly even though only a third of the received bonus was determined by company performance.
The AroundCampus Group has a young culture and the only benefit of this is that they healthcare payments remain low. Other than that the benefits are skinny. There are no stock options. The retirement plan is weak, because they do not expect employees to stay with them long enough to see it come full circle. I guess the dental was ok.
not many benefits come with this internship position.
Career Partner network, future opportunities within the company, no other specific benefits
You will not get any time off & after the internship you will owe taxes on the money they paid you in the summer
NONE... Literally this company doesn't worth your time to be a part of.
