“Vacation is unlimited/untracked. The only "limit" is common sense (i.e. you should be here enough that we can tell you work here, and you should be getting your work done)”
“While I have never taken paternal leave personally I know those that have and have heard great things. It's a paid 16 weeks that you can take at once or in two separate blocks of time totalling 16 weeks. Medical benefits continue throughout the leave and it is not limited to a biological birth, it covers adoption and fostering leave as well. ”
“Our culinary team is superb! We get 3 meals a day and a snack. The food is healthy and very high quality.”
Extremely inclusive and thoughtful about the options they give employees. They have evolved their programs throughout the 2 years i've been there, which isn't always typical for a company.
The best thing is the culinary program (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) this saves me thousands of dollars and it's healthy, delicious, easy, and amazing. While not necessarily the worst thing, we don't 401k match at this time but we do have a retirement savings program.
Food is by far the best thing, bose earphones and macbooks are brand new and super nice, dog friendly office is not as distracting as it sounds. Worst thing would be just missing a 401k match which we should get soon and just typical SF stuff like commuting but we do have commuters benefits and $50 credit/ month
The company perks here are amazing. Here are some of the best parts: -culinary team which cooks all your food for free -ride share credits & commuter credit -discounted gym/fitness membership -fully covered health insurance -flexible PTO policy -work life balance
401k match would be nice
Best: Untracked PTO, sabbatical, and professional coaching! Worst: No 401k match :[
Pretty great, really thoughtful about which benefits and why.
Amazing benefits for a mid-sized startup. They could really move the needle if they addressed the following: - 401k matching - equity vesting while on parental leave - charitable gift matching - tuition assistance
The Flexible PTO (with a culture that encourages taking time off) is amazing. I feel like I can focus on my work and take vacation when necessary without having to count vacation days etc.
Commuter benefits were pretty bare minimum and the few ones they had were ridiculous (a shuttle from a BART station that is less than 10 minutes away?). Health, dental, and vision all great, at least.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
