Spouse coverage was costly and unrealistic. Start of coverage was different for their associates. No true way for associates to be the manager of their benefits through health initiatives
I really like the PTO benefits that they provide. They offer a large amount right from the start and only takes 5 years to get 27 days plus 8 paid holidays. The health benefits are pretty decent too as long as you go to an Ascension hospital/Dr. The 401K match isn't as good as some other places but they still offer a match.
The best benefit is a great PTO policy.

All employees at Ascension Information Services are offered higher than typical amount of time off than most other jobs similar to this. The dental, health care, and vision plans are competitive and slightly cheaper than previous jobs. The employer match offered in the retirement savings plan is decent and is a common offering among a majority of employers. Tuition reimbursement is also offered with a yearly cap, along with access to an online platform containing free of charge books and courses that can be utilized to study for hundreds of popular certificates or colleges classes.
