At Aspen Dental, we provide a wide range of benefits to our team members to support their health, financial future and other needs outside work.
It was nice to be offered benefits, especially in the dental field where they are hard to come by. Aspen offered full benefits with full time employment
Decently priced health insurance, paid time off, dental care.
Mediocre Healthcare with high deductibles
Great company to work for if dr and staff work together.
Health insurance is painfully expensive with a dependent and carries high deductibles regardless of plan choice. 401k takes a year to get into.
All the benefits are good other then bonus
Best is they match your contributions, the worst is you cannot put all of a bonus into your IRA
401K every dollar is matched
Health insurance is through Blue Cross Blue Shield and is affordable for what they pay with normal deductible options. They also offer dental discounts if you go to Aspen locations for treatment (varies but around 50% off procedures) and have vision insurance. Initial unmatched 401K after 6 months, no charge life insurance, HSA/FSA, identity protection monitoring ($10/check), prepaid legal services (a couple different options around$6-$10/check). Pay is bi-weekly. All vacation and sick time is after a year and there is a very strict policy on working around major holidays, no time off request for Christmas/Thanksgiving etc and that is across the board for any location.
This company does not offer dental insurance to the thousands of employees. It is shocking to me that the benefit is not offered to employees that may not work in a dental office or have needs that go beyond the local office such as pediatric care or orthodontics. We also are not afforded any health club reimbursement.
