“The worst thing about paid time off and vacation is that you don't have the option yo use it when you want to. If you should choose to not get paid for a day off due to having something planned for a later time, you are out of luck. So, unexpected things that may require your time are not considered. ”
“Again, the worst thing about the Health Insurance is the fact that is not affordable for large families who don't make a lot.”
“ The 401K plan does not match dollar for dollar. That is a huge issue for many employees. ”
The best benefit i use is the time off which is a month off a year. 401K is great too but currently am no participating in it yet however plan to in the near future . I love the company perks however am saddened that our point rewards were discontinued.
Full time employees are eligible for health, dental, additional life and a 401K. They offer a couple of different health insurance plans but they are on the expensive side unless you select the High Deductible Plan. They also have a reimbursement program for things like charitable donations, gym memberships, museum memberships etc which is nice. The vacation policy is pretty generous as well.
While they value their employees, so they say, by offering health insurance that is expensive, they do NOT provide any type of paid maternity/paternity leave. And you are out of luck if life happens and cant use Aflac because Aflec says you have to wait a year before you can even use it. But no worries, they provide pet insurance as a comfort. So if you decide to go with their insurance program, to even have paid short term and long term disability, you will need to select that option and have more taken out of what little amount of a paycheck you get.
Family plan health insurance is super expensive, they are still working on 401k, no bonus offering,
401k match is a joke at 0% to 5% match of employee contributions and no profit sharing. Two thumbs down.
The benefits are amazing. We gave Aetna and there's several different answers to choose from. My current plan cost less than $100 a paycheck and I only have to pay $35 when I go to a pcp.
I have not used them very much yet because I just started six months ago but they seem reasonably priced and fair, so far.
The 401K, Vacation time and holidays
Benefit package cost is high, not great for a large company like Associa.
It would be nice if sick time was granted in full at the beginning of the year rather than accrued. If you get sick in January/Feb you are forced to use vacation time.
List based on reports from current and former employees. It may not be complete.
