Good 401k matching and decent bonus and stock options for senior level management.
good benefits package for employees
Best: 401K matching, generous PTO with option to roll over Worst: health insurance options are limited and expensive for what you're receiving
Terrible health insurance if you actually need to use it. 2 of the 3 options are extremely high deductible and the 3rd option has such high CO-insurance that you can't use it anyway. A simple doctor's visit usually costs $150...plus the $150/month I paid for my insurance plan itself. IDK why the other employees actually think this is good coverage. It's horrible and unusable. It's prolly because of Assurant's massive employee marketing plan that "Assurant Cares". Sure it does. All meds are usually $75 bucks each too...on top of the $150/month for coverage itself. Any tests run in the hundreds of dollars.
Good matching retirement and good choices of tiered BCBS medical.
Starts after 90 days of employment but has no vision.
Salary and benefits are more than fair. Dollar for Dollar 401(k) match up to 6%. ESPP program and decent medical benefits. No formal vision plan, instead they offer a discount plan for eye glasses.
I got health insurance. Medical and dental. Very affordable. I also had a 401k. The best benefit to me was the free counseling and paid disability that was offered to me while working so I could pay my bills and get the help I needed while I was out.
They offered great benefits
low pay, telecommuting was a plus
