The only thing I currently wish they had was sick leave. We only have Paid Time Off. I have a son and if he gets sick, then I have to stay home and use up my PTO, so later when I actually want to vacation with my family I have a very low amount of days to use due to them being used for sick days earlier in the year.
Benefits are about average for a company this size.
They try do some fun things like free lunches/breakfast, they have free snack machines which is by far one of the best things they do as well as employee appreciation month. Those are the things that really make Atlantic Bay stand out and make other frustrations temporarily forgettable. They really fail when it comes to PTO, especially with the way its acquired and can't roll over. You're forced to not be able to take vacations in the beginning of the year out of fear of not having needed PTO for sick days. They should let let at least 1 year of PTO fully roll over. The lack of paid maternal/paternal leave is disheartening. Would of liked to have seen more options to work from home and the flexibility to make up time. Would be great to see a company not worried about "hours worked" versus "projects and tasks finished". The health benefits aren't great, though the HSA plan isn't bad - I feel like the plans get worse as time went on.
4601know sucks. Vacation best based off of length of employment.
Paid time off. Employer matching of 401k up to 50% of first 5% contributed at the end of the year. Employer assisted health care and dental. Flexible scheduling not exactly flex time but close to it.
Health insurance plan is great. Somewhat makes up for low pay.
401K Match, Awesome Health Insurance (It's not cheap but its great, Ive been sick and it covers almost everything),
Benefits package type is good - cost is very high
