Great PTO, and health insurance can be inexpensive with great coverage.
Jobs in Tech
Recently got a job offer from Audible Newark NJ location. How is the Newark location? Is it a safe place to work? I plan to live in Jersey City and commute by PATH. I am seeing conflicting opinions about itonline. Would really appreciate input from someone working in the area. Audible, Inc. Amazon
Excellent coverage and maternity leave policy
For interns, Audible gives a great benefits package.
Complimentary Audible account is a game changer
Audible has great benefits to choose from but what is really special is the company perks. There is a true sense of community within Audible and many of the perks include tons of opportunities to volunteer in the community with peers, lunch, a barista, snacks, happy hours, and oaccasional random fun activities like flower arranging, mini golf in the offices, tie dye at Summerfest etc. They also truly care about mental health and well being, with Amazon giving additional mental health perks (subsidizing some costs for therapy) and Audible gives "wellness days".
Poor 401k match due to Amazon frugality and no free Amazon Prime membership. Perks are on par with a bustling tech company - free food on campus, decent vacation (3 weeks + 1 week can rollover to next year), obviously free Audible Premium membership, and great health coverage.
Company perks were all over the place.
