Aurora has a great benefits package
best benefits are the tuition assistance program and wellness program. The medical insurance was average, STD pays 60%
Your contribution is low and Aurora pays the rest. Great benefit options and add ons available
Ample PTO which accrues biweekly and carries over to following years. 401K with company match. Medical package is limited to a narrow network, which is frustrating, but expected.
Lots of benefits if you know where to look
Very average benefits, nothing special. No pension program anymore. Health insurance options limited to the Aurora network. Nothing to brag about here.
They offfer benefits even you work as a part time. They offer 401k, short term disability, life insurance , and the best of all is they give you credits if you’re a non-tobacco user and your spouse if he is covered under your health insurance, they also give credit for your healthy weight.
Full time employees accrue about 8 hours of PTO for every paycheck (biweekly) for the first 5 years. That bumps up to 10 after 5 years.
No sick time, just PTO. So if you're new you don't really get paid for sick time. Premiums are super fair and coverage is good, but is very limited to Aurora doctors.
High deductibles and high premiums. Recent reduction in sick days allowed. A hospital system this large needs to work on providing affordable health insurance.
