Employer Summary

Non-exmpt (hourly) employees earn Paid Time Off benefits (between 128 and 240 hours) based on their years of Avnet service. "No limit vacation time" which means actually it is up to your manager to approve any vacation time and the company no longer has to keep vacation dollars on the financial statement. Win for the company financials and loss for the employee.

Avnet just moved to unlimited PTO; however, do not fool yourself in thinking you will get a ton of time off. What this allows is more flexibility in how you need to use it (i.e., vacation, sick, doctor appointments). The reason the rating is not a 5 is because a no accrual policy means that if you leave the company you do not have the additional money saved up in accrued vacation.
