Non-exmpt (hourly) employees earn Paid Time Off benefits (between 128 and 240 hours) based on their years of Avnet service. Exempt (salaried) employees have Flexible Time Away (FTA) benefits, which allow a reasonable amount of paid time away from work to relax and refresh along with the flexibility to manage business and personal needs.
flexible time away policy for vacation
Open time off police take time off as long as there is no business case for to to be at work.
"No limit vacation time" which means actually it is up to your manager to approve any vacation time and the company no longer has to keep vacation dollars on the financial statement. Win for the company financials and loss for the employee.
Starting vacation is 2 weeks.
PTO for non-exempt employees is good. Managers are pretty flexible.
This benefit also changed and is not unlimited PTO
two weeks paid vacation after 90 days
At 10yrs I had 4wks off.
Unlimited vacation for exempt employees
Avnet just moved to unlimited PTO; however, do not fool yourself in thinking you will get a ton of time off. What this allows is more flexibility in how you need to use it (i.e., vacation, sick, doctor appointments). The reason the rating is not a 5 is because a no accrual policy means that if you leave the company you do not have the additional money saved up in accrued vacation.
