Good benefits all around at decently low cost to employees
Flexible schedule, flexible PTO,no complains on that front.
best = gym worst = vacation
Multiple options to select that give you the ability to go with the plan that is right for you
Super flexible vacation policy, great office space, gym membership is awesome deal. No 401K matching but why would a startup spend it's money on that?
Lots of flexibility and choices with typical benefits like insurance, etc. I love the flexibility of the unlimited vacation policy. They have a stocked kitchen with snacks and drinks throughout the week. Almost all positive, the only negative would be that most people come from corporate america where they had a matching policy for their 401K and Axial does not match contributions here. Not the end of the world, but being young, saving is important.
healthcare is ok but not great. education benefits are ok but, not great. they lied about giving you equity. it is actually stock options that you have to buy and they only vest after 4 years and you really have no idea how much they are worth, will be worth, or if they will be worth anything at all
Time off policy. Axial has an unlimited time off policy that gives us tremendous flexibility and a manageable work-life balance.
(-) No 401k match (-) group life and LTD insurance not available (-) Weak prescription coverage (-) Weak dental coverage (+) Low premiums for medical coverage (+) Good medical coverage
No matching of 401k, never a full explanation of equity in company
