depending on the trainer will result your performance.
Hosts trained for three days and typically had a buddy afterwards anyway. Servers trained for up to a week at times and took a menu test.
I helped open the restaurant so I had formal training from the regional trainers, which was awesome working together from ground zero and growing as a group
Could do a better job with Training
Depends on who the job trainer is
Bartender training is pretty extensive, they have a high standard of cleanliness and so many signature cocktails that have a specific build and 8 different ingredients.
Training is chaotic and almost nonexistent. It is consistently the worst training experiences in all of my job history. Training often occurs simultaneously during actual shift work and it is often too chaotic to fully obtain and appropriate proficiency with the training.
Needs to have more experienced trainers
At my restaurant we have horrible trainers.
Worst training that I have received during a new store opening.
