2 weeks starting is not bad.
It is comparable to other companies
You are able to use your PTO especially after April 15th.
Four weeks paid time off which is nice. This includes sick time, but typically if I have an appointment or take a sick, I make up the time so I don't have to use vacation.
The PTO plan begins after 1 full month of service and has a monthly accrual. There is a PTO buy-up to acquire additional PTO.
10 hours accrued monthly. Can buy an additional 3 hours per month for $35.
As a mom I would appreciate more PTO hours without having to pay extra for them. Although the company does let me take care of my mom duties as needed and I have the ability to make up for time off without it reducing my paycheck
BKD offered a PTO program, reasonable days based on tenure
As a full-time associate you earn 13.5 hours per month (on the last day of the month) of PTO. You generally cannot use this during tax season, January through April, but it's fair game for the majority of the year. You can purchase an additional week by electing to have your weekly salary divided by 24 pays and deducting a portion from each biweekly paycheck. This allows you to earn 16.75 hours of PTO each month. Vacations are paid and typically of a company (nothing special for Easter or some of the other minor 'no school' holidays). Two days for Thanksgiving (Thursday and Friday) and three days for Christmas (if Christmas is on Friday, we get Wednesday and Thursday off as well; if Christmas is on Wednesday we get Tuesday and Thursday off).
