401k not very good if in CA but great if you are in Texas
Normal benefits package.....Value to cost ratio has gradually shifted more to cost over the years
great employer to work for
Work from home, unlimited vacation time, great health insurance
Health insurance option for PPO is very expensive
6% match on 401k, good insurance benefits where they pay more than 50% of the costs. The bad is that employees really can’t earn more PTO you get 3 weeks and after 5 years you get another then at 10 years you get a full month and that’s it, no more! There is no profit sharing, stock, or employee ownership. Holidays are observed and they allow you PTO but it all counts against you in your performance and utilization numbers. Travel expenses are paid but not your time.
The benefits are fair. The insurance is expensive though. We pay twice as much for similar coverage through BCBS of Texas as my husbands company. They offer some child care spending account and HSA. Vision is through VSP which doesn't cover very much.
Health insurance is pricey. 401K match is good. PTO is good.
Great benefits and career growth opportunities. Better work life balance. Great products. New technology work and learning opportunities.
