I started with 3 weeks vacation as a mid-level employee. Now I'm senior level and have 4 weeks off. This is not unusual.
They are generous with this compared to other companies.
Excellent time off even for entry level employees. For example start off with 3 weeks vacation and all federal holidays on the Federal reserve calendar.
Depending on your "grade level" your vacation time will increase, along with 10 sick days allowed annually. Generous and very competitive for the industry.
Federal holidays off as well with generous time off
Best is 136 hours of vacation per year starting on your first year of employment.
The grade system limits additional vacation to very senior people
The best thing is you dont have to do anything. You just bring the paperwork to your doctor after you are mailed it and they fax it for you! We also have financial advisors here that will help you with your retirement. You are literally set for life. Over 2 weeks of vacation paid, over 2 weeks of sick time.
As in typical in banking, time-off is generous. It is earned as the year progresses.
