They match the first four percent dollar for dollar and half of the next two percent. I vested after three years.

nice matching and you got it every month. But there is a vesting schedule so if you don't work here for 3 whole years you lose some of it.

The company match is good at dollar-for-dollar on first 4%, then $0.50 per dollar up to 6.5%; easy to max out the company match without having a lot taken from each paycheck. Company also gives annual one-time payouts to the 401(k) based on company performance and job level, in addition to the regular match. This is something I haven't seen with any other employer and really boosts the overall savings. The funds offered are from smaller / less well known firms like Blackrock, and none of them have a publicly listed symbol that can be tracked on Yahoo Finance or other tracking platforms. Only way to see fund performance is log into the account management system. The funds have higher expense ratios than funds from companies like Vanguard, and many are newer funds with only a few years of performance history to go by, making it harder to make an educated choice about where to invest. Plan also offers a fully active management option for a monthly fee, but it's based on percentage of total dollar value and doing the math it doesn't seem like a good deal for expected average performance.

    Nice match with 5% on 6%, plus 2% non-elective
