Strong benifits package. Weakest link is only a limited amount of PTO compared to similar jobs.
Too my understanding the benefits were good. But benefits were not offered to interns.
They are very generous . Good company to work for
The worst insurance you can have. I had no choice but have Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield. It is the worst I have ever had. This is the only insurance the company offers. Regarding vacation, you get 40 hours per year. Lucky for me, I had the meanest manager who forced me to use my vacation hours when I my father was sick. For some employees, he gave them free days to take care of their personal matters, and for me, since my manager hated me, he acted like there weren't any other codes except the vacation hours. My family emergency could have been marked with different codes, but alas, I was forced to use my vacation hours.
High deductible insurance is the worst.
For me the best benefit from this company as a salaried employee was the 401K. When I was hired, I was also eligible for the company pension plan. That has since been frozen, then eliminated. New employees will not have access to both pension and 401K as I was.
9/80 401 k match high deductible health plan with health savings account contributions subsidized life insurance short and long term disability vision dental
HSA contribution, thrift plan and wellness clinic / program are all excellent.
When I worked there the health insurance was great, as was the paid time-off (aka vacation days). They even had a gym onsite. The worst problem was that they did not have official sick days, so you had to take time off that could potentially be counted against you.
Average benefits but low about of vacation
