The job training I received was very short (1 hour or so), which can be a good and bad thing.
They dont always give the best training they sort of just throw you into it
I worked for a day with someone that took me around the store and showed me everything.
They expect you to assimilate to their style of running their business within a 40 hour work week. Training is usually rushed and there are details that you will have to figure out months into your employment.
The job training was easy but they made us watch these long boring videos at the beginning of the training that took up an entire day.
More job training than other retailers
It was better than nothing, but they really relied in the intuitive decision making of the employees when dealing with customers.
Job training is very lacking
it's really fast but informative
It retail. There is always something going on so you have to learn on the fly. They do try to hold trainings every now and then. However, depending what you're doing, if you're going to be on the floor or at the "cash wrap", you will learn more while actually doing the job.
