They act like they really care at first, but really they just want to breeze through all the important things that would actually make a fashionably sensible employee, but they don't pay them enough, therefore they can't poor company growth long-term.
They train you how to do the task required. But there are people who will have worked there for 12 years on the sales floor, but don't know how to use the register (a computer from the 1990s)
I was a seasonal, so I was brought in for Black Friday and Christmas preparations. I wasn't really trained for cash rack, or how to really work the system. Other than that, training is mostly on the job and is simple to pick up. Just be prepared for a fast pace.
Banana Republic gives extensive job training. They never throw you in and leave you clueless.
Not much in depth job training. More of a learn as you go

Everyone will assist you until you feel comfortable working alone!
